The Radiant Child

Story Time: I wrote this poem when I was in a dark space of self doubt and fear of changes and challenges. This was the first poem I wrote about myself to guide the little girl in me to the radiant parts of her highest self. This poem is my favorite poem I have ever written. It has really helped me understand how I see myself and how to continue to let my light shine in any condition, any situation at any chapter of my life. I hope this can do the same for you! ENJOY!

The Radiant Child, words all piled.

Wanting to be in the wild, curious about what's unfiled.

The radiant child, who has a smile of no denial,

who will dial you into trial, while coasting on the Nile.

The Radiant Child, young but wise.

Many eyes and many cries, but all in disguise.

Looking up to see clear skies, while knowing its all lies.

When we all rise is the real prize.

The Radiant Child, flowing with the highest of highs,

while eating curly fries and pies.

The Radiant Child, watching spies continue to advise,

was born to lead the spies, with their tails between their thighs.

Walking with allies along the clockwise.

The Radiant Child is the sunrise.

The Radiant Child has no size.

The Radiant Child is I.
